Una coppia di sposi in cattive acque entra casualmente in possesso di un'enorme somma di denaro rubato. Lui vorrebbe avvertire la polizia, ma lei lo persuade a nasconderla in un posto sicuro. Il ladro tenta di recuperare la refurtiva, ma la donna uccide lui e il marito, scappa oltre confine e muore mentre fugge da un poliziotto.
