La diciassettenne Millie Kessler sta solo cercato di sopravvivere all'ultimo anno di liceo. Le sue preoccupazioni aumentano quando diventa l'obiettivo del famigerato serial killer che terrorizza la città . Il mistico pugnale che usa l'uomo fa sì che i due si risveglino l'uno nel corpo dell'altro. Millie avrà così solo 24 ore di tempo per riappropriarsi del suo corpo e non rimanere bloccata in quello di un maniaco di mezza età .
