Rich with mythical references and folk imagery, this modern reinterpretation of a classic supernatural chiller artfully blends sophistication with horror, delivering a chilling yet elegant experience. The title, presented in Irish and reflective of much of the dialogue, is a shortened version of the original “Fremhacha,” meaning “roots.”
