Durante un concerto, il sassofonista Izzy viene ferito. Una volta rimessosi, camminando nel quartiere di Manhattan inciampa per caso nel cadavere di uno straniero. Nella borsa che trova accanto al corpo trova un fazzoletto con un numero del telefono ed una scatola con una misteriosa pietra dalle facoltà magiche.
