Operation Blood Spray is in opposition to military comedies. Bredo Greve did not want to create entertainment; on the contrary, he exposes the military and the atrocities of war through powerful imagery. The poet Jan Erik Vold plays a confused man who desperately tries to get rid of a female ghost.
